The parks of the North/Tarangire
The park is situated about 85km southern from Lake Manyara. Tarangire is well known for its exceptional concentration of animals especially between august and January. During that period thousands of animals leave the big steppes Masaï, searching for water and migrate to Tarangire River. The extraordinary concentration of elephants (over 300 head herds) is among the greatest attraction of that park.
Best season: from june to november.
